Our mission

Our mission is to make our community a better place while fostering fun and building lifelong friendships. At the Saint Charles Women's Club (SCWC), we organize several fundraising events throughout the year to support local charitable organizations and families in need within D303.  Additionally, we proudly sponsor the Sherry Costello Scholarship Fund which provides financial assistance to enter a degree program.  Each year, we select two local organizations to partner with.   For the 2024-2025 year, we focus our efforts and resources to help support D303 United Special Olympics and Ruth Project.

To help us further this mission, please consider a donation or joining us at an upcoming meeting

Examples of Volunteering include:

  • Donating food items and packing sack lunches
  • Prepping dinners for Lazarus House guests
  • Donating toys and clothes during the Christmas season
  • Preparing Easter baskets for local families
  • Packing food at Feed My Starving Children & Northern Illinois Food Bank
  • Donating items from the Urgent Needs List for Lazarus House
  • Participating in our Fall and Spring Fundraisers
