  We are selling 100 Squares for our 2024 Fall Fundraiser. This money will fund our support for the D303 school district.

  Each square costs the amount of the number chosen. Each square provides you tickets in the amount of the number chosen. Tickets will be entered into a drawing for three CASH prizes; $500, $250, $100!  

  Square 1= $1 =1 ticket

  Square 100 = $100 =100 tickets

• Unsinkable Princess Book Launch party

  Come meet the author and help support fellow club member Faly Colaizzi as she launches her book Unsinkable Princess, a memoir. The author will be signing books and there will be a chance to meet the main character, her mother “Rachel” along with a slideshow of photos from her socialite days in Spain and her family life as it evolved in Lake Geneva.
  
  It’s a party! Faly worked on her interviews and photo collection and putting together these stories for the past four years. Let’s celebrate all her hard work. Friends, family, significant others, all are welcome.
  
  Tons of fun, don’t miss this one!

  Keep the tour going after the volunteer opportunity with the Ruth Project, by joining GNO at Whiskey Acres. The drinks are delicious, and the Whiskey tour is informative. Tours run at 2, 4, and 6 PM. Bring a chair (they have a limited amount on site) and your SO to listen to The Aaron Kelly Band. It is one you don’t want to miss! Come and get ready for some amazing music!
  As of right now, they DO NOT have food planned, but we will update this if this changes. (You are able to bring food, though.)
  We are also thinking about doing a party bus. There will be a poll to see if the interest is there.

  We will be participating in the St Charles Scarecrow fest this year and we need your help! Here are some details:

  Our Theme: St. Charles Women’s Club – 100 Years of Philanthropy, Friendship and Fun!

  Our Entry: 2 SCWC member scarecrows – one from 1924 and one from 2024

  Setup: Thursday, Oct 10, 11-1

  Tear down: Sunday, Oct 13, 5:00

  Many items are needed in order to create our winning entry! (And winning entries are eligible for cash prizes – which would go back to the club!) Please sign up with the link below to help out and/or donate supplies. And please stop by during the festivities and cast your vote! You can also sign up with the link on the 9/6 post on our SCWC fb page.

  Please note that any items donated for the scarecrows will be subject to the elements and may not be in good shape at the end of the fest. For that reason, items available through donations or picked up at thrift shops are preferable.
